Stanford defeats FSU 20-13
Dramatic ending that concluded with a video review. Crazy game. FSU changed QB at some point and that seemed to help them.

That loss doesn’t matter to the voters anymore. It was weak one and since then Bama has beaten multiple ranked opponents

And lost to the worst team in the acc who everyone besides bama in the conference has handled. It’s a blemish on their record for sure. They’ve rebounded well but still

FSU changed QBs because Tommy was scrambling and slid and a defender came in late and hit him in the head (ejected for targeting). He did the classic arms stiffen up, knocked out concussion movement. I would imagine he’s going to be out a couple weeks. Norvell surely a dead man walking at this point.

I just saw a clip. Wow. That was a hit. Hope the kid is ok, Nole or not.
 
LSU has still not topped 24 points against an FBS team this year, and Kelly is perhaps one loss from wandering into the woods to live a life of solitude rather than deal with this frustration any longer.

Get ready for the national media to try and shove a three-loss SEC team down our throats come playoff time. My money is on Tennessee, whose toughest remaining games are Oklahoma and Vandy at home and has "good losses" to Bama and Georgia.

Ole Miss is still likely to get in and might deserve it, but if they win out, their best wins will be LSU at home or Oklahoma on the road.

I get it, I shouldn't be throwing stones from our glass house and I am getting WAY ahead of myself. But I just hope the world starts to recognize that the third and fourth teams in the SEC aren't much better than the third and fourth teams in any other conference anymore.
 
Two years ago, North Carolina, Clemson, and Florida State were the three ACC teams to vote against newcomers Cal, Stanford, and SMU joining the conference. This weekend, Cal defeated North Carolina, SMU defeated Clemson, and Stanford defeated Florida State.

The BIGXII may end up with two teams in the playoffs depending upon how their conference championship game goes.

Texas Tech’s loss without their starting quarterback isn’t going to be death sentence if they win out.

Still a lot of football left to be played. I think Oklahoma will drop at least 2 of their next 3.

That GT-UGA game should be fun to watch at the end of the year. Both teams may be going to the conference championship
