Nah. FSU Can't afford it. He's there through next season at least. Nearly $55M to get rid of him and his staff, and throw another $35-40M to get another coach and staff. Even spread over a few years, it's too much.

The difference is that Miami always had money, our big donors just didn't have any confidence or ability in Blake James or the Athletic Department. We also weren't willing, after the Shapiro fiasco, to spend that cash under the table. NCAA looks the other way for the SEC but not for us. We have multiple billionaire donors, on top of the multiple millionaire donors. FSU doesn't even have one billionaire donor.

I don't think so. I mean, if the plan is Fire Norvell then hire Jimbo at a huge discount, the math works out wayyy better. However, it would be a bad hire on their part and still, it's a ton of money.
