If anyone has two extra seats in a Canes section lemme know. Needing to buy this week. Otherwise I'll sit in the upper deck in the cheap seats I guess.

They're not scoring 27 points unless we gift them incredible field position and/or they get non-offensive TDs. Their 3 games are against Bethune-Cookman, Alabama, and Southern Miss. In those 3 games, they have thrown for:

172 yards
103 yards
193 yards

You're not scoring 27 this year on Miami's defense being completely one-dimensional. Guidry is too good for that and the kids are too smart for that. They'll pop some runs because that's what they do, but they averaged 5.84 yards a play against an FCS school. They got 3.77 a play against Alabama. Iowa last year was dead last in the country in YPP and finished at 3.94.

We're scoring 40+. They're not scoring 27 unless it comes in total garbage time.

I think at the end of 3 it's 38-14.
 
Their QB is also their leading rusher with 254 yards rushing so far this season:

Passing yards: 468 (3 Tds)
Rushing yards: 806 (11 TD's)
Total yards 1274

Their QB has been sacked 8 times this season as well. Get pressure on the QB and spy him to shut down the run game and Miami should control the game.

LOL, the computer model clearly hasn't witnessed FSU's offense or Cal's defense.

Wilcox is a helluva defensive coach.

Bears will get up like 10-0 and then choke out the Noles like a snake does a mouse.

One thing is sure... this is the first team that is going to hit us hard this season. Hopefully we won't be as Mike Tyson quoted...
But a great segway game to the ACC schedule...
 
I'd be more concerned about them if they were a passing team. I can't believe that a team that only runs the ball can keep up with our offense. To be fair according to their fans on X we're about to see the "true" Cam Ward, and he'll revert to his old self...
 
We need to get up big early then they will be forced to pass and that will play into Guirdy's hands. I predict some Int's and fumbles by USF.

I think we win by 23.
 
Running qb is something new for us. I saw Alston spying last game. But maybe we gotta have a faster player doing that. Guidry won’t be caught with his pants down that’s for sure.

Bama fumbled the ball all over the field for 3 quarters, that is why they didn't score much until the end of the 4th quarter. They pushed the ball up and down the field on the ground and through the air without much resistance and just kept shooting themselves in the foot. They shoulda hung 60 on USF. I think we can too.

On offense USF benefited from some short fields and some poor tackling on Bama's part. Their QB is a big body guy and they used him like a battering ram in the first half. USF only threw for 100 yards and ran for 2 bills a 100 of which was from their QB. These stats were padded by all the extra possessions Bama gave them.

I felt this game could be a challenge until I watched the replay of the Bama USF game. Our skill guys aren't quite as explosive as Bama's but we won't have any trouble with the Bulls.

This is a game you spy with a nickel CB or maybe even a 3rd LB, not a stand up DE...

we actually spied a bit this saturday ... we used alston ... wonder if that was a precursor
 
This is the type of game that years ago we used to ruin for the crowd by halftime.

Big underdog, feeling good about themselves, record crowds, night game. Would feel great to do that again. Kids leaving at halftime or just after.
