So, I read in another post that Elder declared. Is it confirmed that Elder and Burns are both gone then? I think both could use another year. Neither are going into 1st round so why not.

Elder is better than Burns, but both won't be much in the NFL.

Burns is extremely overrated.

Both are 4th and 5th rounders.
 
None of the draft eligible players should be going anywhere. None are anywhere close to ready. Burns 6 INTs doesn't make him some great CB. Elder still needs a lot of work. If we can get a good DB coach, they'll both be 2nd round picks.
 
If elder declares that's career suicide none of these guys are ready

Some kids that are graduating wish they had another year

Honestly don't think none of the under class men are ready for the NFL. The one who should go regardless is Artie burns due to his circumstances. The thought shouldn't even be in the minds of the other players head right now

Ok I mean I don't think he has any insight into whether Elder declared or not I just think he's saying based on how Elder has played today the idea of him declaring is a joke.

Posts like that are why I've said posters like Al Foil should be banned from these boards, because now everyone just posts a bunch of unsubstantiated **** and people interpret it as fact.
 
i don't think he's saying that corn did declare, i think he's saying that he shouldn't even be thinking about declaring.

LOL right bc we havent had a history of kids who underperform here and suddenly become NFL staples? You must never learn from your mistakes. I bet you touch hot stoves every time you cook.

You are right I believe. I hope everyone returns after this 1st half debacle against Wash St. This is pathetic on all accounts. No one should be declaring for the draft.

I have not seen one junior on UM NFL ready. One more year under competent coaching will improve their draft stock.

Burns has probably been the most penalized defensive player in the acc this year. Got to get those cleaned up man

Which NFL staples we talking about?

Will you agree this happens with every school?
 
Burns looks bad today. Losing money. Not getting off blocks, dropping a pick and a penalty which helped them get a td. Late round pick. No guaranteed money. Gonna have to ball in preseason to make a roster.
