Early betting odds for 2020 CFBP

We haven't won a title since 2002 (ok fine 2003) and went 7-6 last year. Why would we have higher odds? I'm as support Manny and Enos and this new roster as much as the next guy but we haven't played a down yet lol let people sleep on us
Nebraska's last title was 97, UCLA's last title was...I have no idea. Both of those teams were much worse than Miami in 2018. They both have better odds than Miami in this poll.

I'm more interested to see where they set our wins and losses at tbh. The championship odds are dumb if you're not Clemson, Bama, or OU.

The point is, who cares about our odds. We haven't done anything to earn Vegas' respect so let's just show it on the field. If TNM is as good as e think it will be then the nation will take notice.

I was just in Vegas; I WISH that's where we actually were.

A few weeks ago we were 250/1. We were 100/1 on Friday (1/25) and 90/1 on Saturday (1/26). We're currently at 50/1. There's been a lot of money pouring into Miami to move that line so quickly and drastically. If someone knows of an actual sportbook that gives 150/1 - and not just some graphic in a tweet - let me know!

This one is sourced from Caesars Palace as of Jan 29. But yes you're right, I do see some sportsbook having us at 50/1

Yeah I just put in a $100 bet on bovada at +5000. That is as high as I could go I wanted to bet a G. If anyone knows of a site taking odds bigger than that please let me know!

That's odd, as that was basically my corner. I was at the CP and Bellagio sportsbooks on 1/26 and both were 100/1 after close. CP, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, and Cosmopolitan all had it at 90/1 on 1/27. Wish they were at 150/1!

That’s disrespect to put us below Nebraska. Pretty sure Nebraska is decimated across the roster with talent, they were playing walk on safetys and qbs. Pelini screwed frost lol

So much misunderstanding in this thread. Vegas isn't trying to predict the champion. They are trying to make money. This is all financial. Some clowns came in and put money on UCLA and Nebraska, and their odds went down. That's not disrespect to Miami.

Actually, these odds are great if you understand that this is for wagering. Wouldn't you rather get paid at 150/1 than 80/1? If anything, those other odds suck.
I mean that they suck in actual projection of team rankings. But yea, it's great value if you think we can win a chip next year. Not good enough yet anyways.

Correct. Most of posters don’t know ***** about dynamics of odds making.
