So more or less someone grabs a list of HS rankings and sprinkles it into a list of 1st round projected teams. Bold strategy.

Glad Bama has so many good players graduating or pro-eligible next year.

Hopefully their replacements are a big drop off since we'll be playing against them

Doubt it. They reload and reload and it will continue to be that way until Saban leaves or they all of a sudden suck. Opening the 2021 season against them wasn’t a smart move especially with the state this program has been in for the last 15 years.

YES they do

Butl at least we'll have a better chance against them then....than we would've this year against them with potentially 8 1st rounders

True that’s another thing I found hilarious. 8 first rounders in a mock draft. No chance Jobe goes first round and are Moses and Brown really first rounders?

Check out #2 and #27 specifically. It's also hard not to notice all the players Miami missed out on.

We got good evals we just can't close....the sec schools know who we r getting and they take them. Our problem is closing....we identify pretty well in terms of top local talent we just don't have a shot. It has nothing to do with wins

Man, it hurts to see Surtain, Jobe and Devonta Smith all projected as 1st round picks. We were in it for all 3 and 2 are local. It's a broken record at this point, but if we can ever start winning and pulling in these guys, we can be sitting pretty . . .
Don’t believe we were ever a serious contender for Surtain.

Jobe (and CJ Henderson) was committed to us; met them and Bandy when Bandy was actually committed to Oklahoma and the other two were committed to us. But, we know all of that changed. Henderson’s flip bothered me more than Jobe’s fiasco.

Devonta Smith had some interest; actually met him at a game (wanna say North Carolina), which was not an official visit. Still remember him as very polite and having that Bayou twang.

Alex Leatherwood was another one that had some interest too. He was down here for some camp (May have been Paradise) and I believe he made some comment about the competition being tougher than other camps he was at.

Right now this is just based on the guys everyone has heard of, which is mostly going to be guys from Alabama, Clemson, big QBs, etc.

then the real draft rolls around and all of a sudden the guys at the money positions shoot up.
Unreal run for Bamba at receiver though, looks like 4 legit first rounders in 2 years. Waddle is better than Riggs and Smith is smooth as hell and will put up numbers without Jeudy and Ruggs.
