Earl Moore transferring

This is one of the transfers I mentioned to the other staff writers and moderators in the private forum.
9 more to go?

It was 5 mentioned. 2 WR's. A kicker. Tucker and Moore.

One of the WR's was just speculation. Nothing concrete.

Are they preventing Tucker from running track, or did he think he would be playing another position?

They promised him he could run track. After he got here, they ballooned him up and wouldn't let him trim down to run track or train with the track team. Threatened his football scholarship if he trimmed down for track.

Thanks for the scoop. Much appreciated.

Very shady of the coaching staff to do that to him.

Him leaving would be completely understandable.

He just posted a video of him practicing on the Miami track yesterday, FWIW.

I hope they replace him with a better player who quits. LULZ at these "he sucks, and we've got better guys to replace him" morons.

You clowns don't understand the importance of having some grown men at the DT position. The only way you accomplish that is to sign the right guys AND THEN TO KEEP THEM IN THE FCKING PROGRAM.

Maybe you should have used the private moderator forum to post your ridiculous, unfounded Al Golden is getting fired rumor.

Saved us all a bunch a bull****.

Replace him? We have 1 DT committed. We have 1 left from the 2012 class (Hamilton). We kind of signed one in 2013 (Kamalu). It wouldn't matter anyway because the coaching is awful and the scheme is an ALbortion. Might as well trot Bobby Boucher out there, it doesn't matter.

Tucker has world class speed an is a better running back than Gus Edwards an Tucker thought he was going to get some carries based on his spring ball performance but instead this year they barely used him. I hope he stays an things get worked out.

Go Canes

tucker in not a better running back than Gus. i am not big on Gus but improved alot. u guys just can't handle that he is a UM running back and not from south florida lol

I don't care if he was from the moon.

You can't handle that he's been overrated since the day he came from New York and shown marginal flashes at best. He's overrated and your defense of him is just because of him being from New York, hypocrite.

FWIW, I thought Gus came on well in the 2nd half of the season when healthy. Actually ran like a guy his size, good pad level, finished runs.

Oh don't get me wrong. He was one of the most improved players by year's end and his improvement from Ice was evident but some people talk about him like he's the second coming of Earl Campbell when he isn't even close and he has miles to go before he meets the praise people have given him.

Link didn't work for me.

If the information about him not being able to train is accurate, the staff is shady. If it's not accurate, I doubt he's really a transfer threat.

Though InsideTheU.com said DT Earl Moore is transferring, UM spokesman said he is not & Moore told Canesport.com he is not.

I wonder if they are doing the same thing with Njoku. He is getting pretty big for a high jumper. I don't see his name on the track roster, either. Pretty stupid. I think a lot of schoold let kids run track or play baseball. Tucker might have more of a future in track, when he'll just be another average football player.

**** if that is true then that is bull crap because they let other players run track!

Go Canes

I looked at the track roster on hurricanesports.com and didn't see a single football player. Maybe it's a partial roster. You'd think Dorsett would have track speed. Maybe Coley and Duke.

I like Gus. People look at his size and assumed he's a power back. Yea I'll like to see him drop the shoulder sometimes but I don't expect it all the time. Tucker is an athlete but he should have just stuck with track. He's a decent football player but a world class athlete.

I like Gus more than a lot of fans. Is he nifty? No. Can't do a lot of the things a premier back can do, but if he played a lot he'd get the yardage. He can break some tackles just because of his size and he's got pretty good speed for a guy his size. He doesn't move the pile the way some other running backs can. I remember how a smaller Portis could move the pile when he was a freshman. Same with Berry and James. I was wondering why Tucker was so big if he was serious about being a hurdler. I said the same about Njoku and high jumping.

Altrition James Folden, Jr. strikes again. Has he reached 40% attrition yet?

If Al had run the bomber offensive against Germany in WW II, we would have lost the war. HE would have refused to let P-51s escort the bombers because HIS PLAN said the bomber will always get through.

And this program will resemble the city of Dresden in Feb. of 1945 when Al is finished with it.
