Keep in mind that with a larger budget, Mario can move some of these guys to analyst roles and still keep their salaries in place.

I also imagine he would want to give SOME deference to the OC and DC. Surprised no Likens, Simpson, or Hickson out there. Maybe they went elsewhere. I am not surprised Patke was not there.

Why yall shocked people from the current staff out there. Cristobal is a worker. These man are still collecting salaries and they have been communicating with the kids in a Miami capacity. Hit up all the locals then the guys he is trying to flip outa state as well as the outa state commits we have, which is a few of them. Ibieta, Graves, Horton, Rogers. Also a LB decommitted from Oregon from Montgomery Alabama. Lots of mileage to wrack up.

No sense in firing all the guys who have built relationships. Mario probably realizes the pull Pata has with the local kids, hence him on the trail.
