Dyron Dye Blasts Al Golden

I will say this. Al Golden does a lot of bad stuff in regards to gameday coaching, hiring, etc... He does not make the decisions a lot of these kids make. So because he makes rules and expects his players to abide by them he is a bad dude. GTFOOH with that ****. These kids need to take responsibility for their own actions. Always blaming someone else for their immaturity.

Meanwhile Mario Pender is starting and balling at FSU with a 0.01 GPA and Jameis is raping women winning Heisman

Too many rules. Should be 2 rules only

1. Don't kill/rape/steal/cocaine

2. Just pass your classes with a D bcuz you play football and are not on academic scholarship

Sure buddy, had nothing to do with your lack of talent and work ethic.

You know how hard he worked?

Always the same guys rushing to defend Golden. Happened when the Duke/Tracy stuff came out, and a lot of you ended up showing your *** on that one.

Defending Golden and pointing out someone else's stupidity aren't the same thing. You can hate Golden AND see that Dye is a mindless thug.

What exactly makes him a mindless thug?

Probably the neighborhood he grew up in.

Not a Golden supporter based on the staff that he has put together or the product on the field. I would be surprised though if he intentionally held players back and bad-mouthed them to NFL staffers. How would he benefit from that at all?

The two most important things that I feed we need to be teaching our youth is respect and accountability. Don't always blame others for your short-comings. If you don't like your current situation then get out of it. If Dye really was this beast that Golden didn't want on the field because of a personal vendetta than he should have transferred to a school that would utilize his talents.

Dyron runs a 5.0 40 and is surprised he isn't on "nobody team"?

"Yeah Coach Carroll, you should sign him. Wasn't good enough to play DE, was the third string TE, was suspended - but give him a shot, great player. Don't be fooled by his non-existence on the field."

While I agree we should all play under the same set of rules, have high moral character, get good grades, and play football it just doesn't work that way. We can only set our student athletes up for success and to be grown as men. I could give a rats *** what FSU has going on. Is it working for them, yes. Does that make it right????

Dyron sucked. Had nothing to do with golden.

We all want him gone now but some of the stuff people post amazes me.

"Thug".....What makes him a thug? i love how that is now a trigger word. dont like anything a kid is saying, write him off as a thug. "oh, he smokes weed...hes a street thug" "he's wearing a hoody, he's a thug"

And yes, there are kids. lets not forget that. When they sign and show up to play they are entrusting their safety and future in the hands of the coach. So if you have all the potential in the world, put in all the work and heed to your coaches' words and end up a bust...guess what thats on the coach! and that is a recurring pattern here. If you can make it on an NFL team, a league that consists of the best of the best, then there is no excuse of how a coach cannot find a way to utilize you on the college scene. A few have made it through - Sam Shields, Richard Gordon, Chase Ford, Dedrick Epps, Laron Byrd, Seantrel Henderson - and all under performed here. These are the ones who got lucky, who's to say how many others fell by the wayside because of the horrendous coaching? player development? I mean is which the reason? what happens to our kids during their tenure here???

I'm defending Golden? What am I defending him from? And yes, I do know how hard he worked.

Sorry my view of the program isn't as myopic as yours and others' is.

Jacory Harris was on 560 yesterday saying he loves Golden and thinks Golden can win a championship at Miami. Should we now crown Golden?

Lulz at someone's opinion being reinforced by some random former player who never did **** at Miami.

No, you're not defending him. You were just Johnny on the spot when it came to running in here to refute his negative comment about Golden, and also claim to know his work ethic.

But according to some in here, he's a thug. More CIS racism.

And in case anyone forgot, this program threw him under the bus and kicked him off the team during the investigation because he refused to roll on people.

Eligibility remained up in the air as Dye’s conflicting testimony remained at the core of the investigation and with the senior arguably sidelined this season – and with Miami waiting on the Committee On Infractions to rule any day now regarding additional sanctions, The U has decided that parting ways with the final player tied to Nevin Shapiro on any level seemed prudent at this juncture.
“The University of Miami has informed football player Dyron Dye that he will no longer be a member of the Miami football program. Given the totality of the circumstances and unresolved issues regarding the NCAA investigation, the University has decided to move ahead.”
Dye’s attorney Darren Heitner is crying foul, while showing some logic, as well. ”He had to find out from me,” Heitner told the Miami Herald. “They didn’t even tell him.”

But yeah, you're not defending Golden. Just rushing in here to tell us what a lazy thug Dye is and discredit what he says about Al Gluten.

Lol kids that don't get in here aren't getting in anywhere else either. The kids that haven't qualified here either went to Marshall, juco, or prep. It was t like they went to fsu.

was he even picked up by anyone as a undrafted FA?

I don't think so but I do know Golden allowed Dye to participate in Miami's Pro Day even after his was booted off the team.

What a jerk Golden is, holding this kid back from his NFL career.

Yeah, it was definitely Golden's fault that Dye had a terrible work ethic and was too busy smoking weed with Ray Ray and Gavin Hardin.
