Yeah and we had Miami fans who didn’t care that Brashard Smith left, or Auburn fans telling us Keionte Scott sucked. Glass half full is always the way to go until reality smacks you in the face

Even with a vastly better OL here, he still needs to work on pocket awareness and speeding up that internal clock. My only knock on him was the drive killing sacks he took in which his OL held up decently.

Cosplay is not a word I want to describe the QB at the University of Miami! Yeah, I do see the "cosplay" and it creeps the **** out of me! WTF is wrong with this dude??? F that and F this thread.
 
Canes fans who are also dolphin fans probably have PTSD due to Hawaiian qbs. I'm one of them.

That said, I subscribe to the theory that Raiola's portal news has been so quiet that he's likely a silent somewhere and Miami wouldn't be a surprise.

Fair points, but I dont think Smith & Scott had the ego baggage. If we have to roll with Maapartments it is what it is. Our culture is stronger than the clown show Rhule has going on

I wholeheartedly believe in anyone Mario takes from a culture standpoint. If he takes Dylan it’s because Dylan is here to win.

Also, if yall remember people said the EXACT same **** bout Jayden Daniels when he left ASU. Prob the same **** UW fans/staff is saying about Desmond Williams now. Just how the game goes. First thing Dylan gotta do when he arrives is shave that head. Fresh start 😂 but you can’t teach that arm strength

I was just talking to the homie about this and may also have said it in here at some point.


I truly believe Raiola provides us similarities in our 2 most recent QB successes.


When we landed Cam, all we heard was that he fumbled too much, put the ball in harms way, his hands were too small, and he took too many sacks. Then he came here and was a Heisman finalist and a first pick in the draft. The things you couldn’t deny about Cam prior to him getting to campus were his sense of calmness, arm elasticity, ability to improvise and the ball just looked different coming out of his hand. Raiola gives you a lot of the same, and some “bad tendencies” are actually game changing abilities when you’re supported by a Mario built roster.


Now, Beck.. all we heard was about his terrible leadership and his hero ball mentality. We had a brief hero ball phase, but the staff has done a phenomenal job scheming things up where they don’t necessarily put him in those situations, but the leadership has never been in question. What you couldn’t/can’t knock Beck for is his ability to manage a game and deliver the ball accurately at a high clip. Again, Raiola gives you much of the same.

Nobody is reading all of this, but if you do, thanks for hanging in there with me lol I am by no means saying Raiola is better than either but I would go out on a limb and say you’re looking at Raiola’s floor and ceiling when you look at Beck and Cam.

If Raoila was ranked a 3 star coming out people wouldnt be doing mental gymnastics talking about elite arm, blah blah.

He moves like pregnant buffalo, holds ball too long, acts weird.

The gap in which say a C.J. Bailey gets drafted to where Raoila gets drafted(if he even does) will be enormous.

We need more athleticism at QB not less.

With our OL, RB, Toney can he be serviceable? Sure, but we should aim higher.

Except he wasnt ranked a 3 star.....bc he has elite arm talent.
