I said and will continue to say it this kid looks better than him. Kaya is slow as dirt and throws a lot of passes that float which end up being interceptions. I'm not talking college to HS either I seen several of his games on TV. He doesn't look off receivers and floats the ball to much for me. Not saying Kaya couldn't be a great qb but he can be beat out. Get tired of people thinking nobody has a chance against kids Example Gibson will never play QB because Kaya is that good.

I don't really know who Kaya or Kayaa is, but we have a kid who starts for us named Kaaya, maybe show him some respect, just saying.

Nice some people will not want to hear this however he looks better than Kaya. He looks fast, lot more accurate with a stronger Arm Kaya job is not going to be a giving .

LOL. Not sure if serious. He has a stronger arm, but Kaaya's HS tape was more impressive. Also, what Kaaya is doing as a true frosh this year it sounds silly to say that he looks better than him from this vid.

Really like this video, though. They've landed another QB who can definitely play here at some point.

Kaaya's touch and deep accuracy in HS were unreal. This kid, though, is extremely talented with the ability to throw deep. I don't think he's that slow, either.

I agree let the best man win... competirion makes everyone better... no politics put tje best man on the field...Gibson is an instinctive runner this kid wants to pass first
 
Lawson just makes everything look easy. Those deep throws look effortless and he runs like hes taking a jog in the park. Great find by Coley.

Man, I like this kid a lot. I have been high on him from the start. He looks like a man playing with children. BUT, Kaaya is true freshman doing stuff we have not seen in over a decade. Since we will be thin at QB next year again, Lawson might not redshirt, but don't see him beating brad out of job. Brad goes 1st round after junior year. Lawson would have to be one bad man to beat Brad out. But I understand you thinking he might, boy is very impressive. As we saw though with Olsen, can't count chickens before they hatch.
 
Kid will look real good after a few years of learning the offense and being absolutely comfortable with it. I can see him making things happen and not needing a top notch OC
 
This thread is hilarious.

First we have dumb schmucks saying this kid is better then Kaaya. LOL. BK15 is doing things here that no other true freshman at UM has. And we all know the QB lineage.. BK is going to end up a freshman AA and ACC ROY.

Second we some more dumb schmucks saying he is Scam Newton, Pryor, Rodgers and Smith.Let the kid create his own name. His playing style is unlike anyone that has been mentioned. If the kid was white.. No one would say Cam Newton.

Lastly, you sound like a complete moron when say he could beat out our current starter. NOT HAPPENING. Anyone with half a brain knows the work he put in to in order to get the starting job. Add to the fact that he is completely owning the system and thriving.

Lawson is the goods, but will likely be 3rd on the chart when he gets here. People forget that we have Rosier who is really talented.

Don't forget the poster that said Kaaya is leaving after his junior year after being drafted in the first round... this may happen and I hope it does (sorta)... but let's get through this season before proclaiming this nonsense.
