It’s not a done deal. Probably is he wants to be an assistant but he recruits well for us so manny might try and keep him

He shouldn't be an Assistant for us. At some point you got to make a position coach job at Miami meaningful. If he wants to become a Senior Defensive analyst and spend multiple years working his way up the ladder to become DB Coach then so be it. But he shouldn't be handed a position coach job because he can recruit. Plenty of DB coaches that can recruit and coach their *** off.

He got to cut his teeth somewhere, I am happy its not here as an apprentice to Rumph.. Sucks because he was really good at his role and actually was on guys that we were sleep on since their high school soph year even.. Got some big guys in this 21 class..

It was going to be hugely difficult to land him anyway so this is just another challenge. No way just one coach lands this kid. It will be a team effort. Just gotta hope whoever Manny brings in as new coaches/support staff are strong recruiters.

Manny better make some big time hires who have instant cache and street cred in SFL recruiting after loosing some deep rooted local HS connections in Banda and DVD. No time to allow the new hires to establish relationships with players or coaches. Relationships and reputation should already be in place.

The only way no is an answer here is if the entire defensive staff is let go and Manny hands the reigns to a highly qualified DC who brings/hires his own people.
