Could be a lot of different things. Someone might've reached out and he had to tell him its not happening.

Gotta remember most coaches have spent years building relationships with players, even those who didn't sign with them outta high school.

It bothers coaches to have to tell these guys there's no spot for them, same as it bothers players find that **** out the hard way.
