I can't believe how everyone fell for Jimbo Fischer, including FSU fans. Everyone forgets how much they disliked him before Jameis and how he was on the hot seat before Jameis won them that title. Even then, that team should have had more losses. Miami wasn't very good and should've beaten Jamie's a couple of times. Jimbo sucks

NFL teams love(d) drafting Jimbo quarterbacks because he runs a very pro style system and apparently being able to take snaps from under center is more important to NFL GMs than actually being able to complete passes. None of his quarterbacks outside or Jamies Winston were particularly great college quarterbacks. Some were decent players but somehow they got drafted in the first round. Not surprisingly, none of them outside of Winston had any success. They weren’t even able to hang around the league as backups for long.

Jameis has managed to at least have a legit NFL career even if it’s been inconsistent. He’s the only Jimbo quarterback to do so. Has anyone coached more first round bust quarterbacks?

I've been on the "jimbo is the most overrated coach in america" bandwagon for many years now - since his OC at LSU days. The dude has had all the talent in the world but he squanders it.

Jimbo was definitely on the hot seat before winning the title. They were getting annoyed at FDU. He could recruit, but he wasn't a good coach.
