Duke thinking about staying for his senior season

This team isn't going to play for titles next year, go get your money.

Let's say hypothetically he comes back next year. If he doesn't get hurt (huge if) he would definatly make more money. If he declares this year he wouldn't be the first rb taken. Gurley Abdullah and maybe Melvin Gordon would go before him. I can't think of a rb that would be better than him next year. Plus with the stable of backs we would have he will have a lesser workload.

But I still think he leaves. The injury risk is too much to risk coming back

Naw man go get that paper dawg.

But Geezus how good we would be next year with this Heisman trophy candidate on our team we'd be ranked top 20 to start the year with him. Oh my for the U him coming back wins us 6 games next year. Without him we're a pass heavy team again.

Top 20, huh? I guess he'll play defense next year too? Oh, and coach the team as well?

KNYGGA we bout to win 8 or 9 games this year.............AND just because of how great he is we'll be ranked that high.

No need for him to coach or play defense and if you don't agree KNYGGA FUCC YO LIFE. I AIN'T ONE OF THESE FUCC *** KRAKAS ON HERE PUZZY *** KNYGGA I'LL REALLY MEET YO BYTCH *** SOMEWHERE DISRESPECTFUL *** KNYGGA.

I just want Duke Johnson to be a millionaire. Period.

This is when we need a booster to step up and get him a million-dollar insurance policy if he so much as ponders staying for his senior year.

That said, he gone.

I lol'd

Finish what you started Duke Williams.

come back to Miami next season. shatter all records, be a Heisman finalist and be the guy that brought Miami back.

come back.

if Duke Williams doesn't come back just fire Al Golden immediately. fire him even if he does come back but fire him the second Duke decides to go pro if he does.

We don't need Kaaya regressing on a team that won't win more than 7-8 games.

The shelf life of NFL running backs are pretty short these days. No need for the extra wear and tear on the body. We all know what he can do. Plus his coach is still Al Golden.

What just happened?

He should leave but something tells me if this team progresses toward the end of the season and he sees Kayaa grow he stays. I still think Duke wants to be the one that got the canes to the "next step". Golden might get him to trust the process and it will make him believe next year is finally the year.

Disclaimer: next year is not the year

Why not stay and get your degree but have one of those $10 million Insurance policies in place in case of injury similar to Winston and many others in the past. Everybody wins then...Mom, Duke, University, Fans...if injury you are paid...if injury free you have a degree and extra bulk on your body to take to the NFL and be the clear cut #1 RB in the nation in the 2016 draft

Whatever he choose I'm for it. He could come back and it works out for him. He doesnt have to get injured. His body is growing and developing still. Remember he was barely 170 in high school. I think we are just now starting to see him crack his potential coming off surgery and being bigger. If he stays , I'm for it , if he goes more rep for the NFL U. I hope the Dolphins pick him!

Duke has been everything we could have asked for. Maybe if there was a chance for an NC next year, a kid who is as big a Cane as him might stay. Otherwise, go get your money Duke and come back for the degree. RB's have short NFL life. He can come back and get degree while still young. Ever since Melvin, I have never faulted a RB for 3 and done. Some need to stay four to learn more and improve chance in NFL; Duke is not one of those. Those two catches he made against VT on 3rd and long and scoring in the last seconds of half made him money next year. Love this kid to much to see him risk injury. Beat FSU and get the money, Duke.

He should go but I've always had the feeling he's coming back

from day one, his momma said he had to get his degree; however, I think even she is reconsidering it.

She really wants him to stay and get his degree. But it seems she knows the risk associated with staying. I think she would be absolutely crushed if he got injured his senior year.
