Duke thinking about staying for his senior season

life span of an NFL back is short...why have the possibility of getting injured again especially when he's getting the national attention he should've been getting? in the words of my man too short..."he should be getting it, getting it while the getting is good." right now, the getting is really good. let him put up over a buck on fsu and his nfl stock will soar.

Duke would be certifiable if he stayed around here for another year. His moms sees the writing on the wall even if Duke doesn't.

Go get em son! The NFL is calling you.

The article is BS.... He gone!

I wonder what players like TH3, Flowers and Bush are thinking. EspeciallyTH3. What kind of film could he put together in another season?? Especially in this scheme! The coaches have been putting him in poor position to make plays and blame it on his lack of speed. Why bother staying??

Its on him. I dont think there is a right or wrong decision

Where does everyone think he gets drafted??

2nd? 3rd?

They all say it their JR season and even after the season. It's out of the turning pro early playbook.

There is a happy medium. If he gets a hefty insurance policy like jameis rapist, he could play his senior year, balls out and not care. He gets paid even with an injury, and maybe even gets more $ up front out of an injury than he could have out of the league. Who wouldn't take that? Get me 10M from Lloyd's, let me finish my degree, and do what I want to do the rest of my life (assuming proper management). You don't think duke knows he is only gonna get 4-6 years out of the NFL, maybe 8 if he is a lucky *** ****? Take the money early if you can and move on and do some thing w your life. With some of these guys football is all they have. They ain't never gonna do nothin, and really don't want to do nothin. Hearing Duke speak, I actually think he has bigger visions. Not saying he is a genius or wants to be an MD or an engineer, but frankly he sounds like a guy who wants to go back and contribute to his community, probably helping kids. If he gets injured, he gets paid and moves on. If he has a great (Heisman) or even mediocre year, he still goes and does his NFL thing as long as he can.

That said, can't fault him for gettin paid, and lettin Yearby step up. But it would be awesome as a fan to have him back.

He won't get the same type of insurance as Jameis because RB's don't make as much as QB's in the league. He can insure himself to a degree but dude has to realize he's done everything he needed to do for this program and this needs to be a selfish decision about setting himself up for the rest of his life.

If he really feels guilty for leaving early go tear up the league and then give back to the program like Edgerin James did.

he needs to go pro and golden needs to get ripped for missing on a big time running back in the 2012 and 2013 classes

we couldn't get a RB between Duke and Yearby worth a squat you POS ****** golden????

Sure would like to see him taking handoffs from Kaaya next season, but I would understand either way. Watching him run wild in the NFL is gonna be nice also.
