Plus:

+ The Defense: They gave up 260 yards and 10 points. Good game tonight.

+ The Running Game: Duke, Yearby, the OL...all of them played their asses off. They should have had a million more carries.

+ Waters: Great game. He won't see the field for 2 weeks now.

Even:

= Kaaya: He started out white hot, then started looking shaky. Then the pass to Yearby happened. No turnovers by him tonight. Good job overall though.

Minus:

- Coley's playcalling: We were gashing them in the running game and we got into trouble when we started going away from it. Bubble screens have to go. Yearby and Duke were unstoppable, why go away from it in that situation?

- The refs: Took a TD away from us and the flag on Perryman was absolute bull****. We've all seen people do that in a game 40 billion times before when they drop a pick. I've never seen a player get flagged for it in a game. Complete horse****.

- Injuries: Sucks to see Kc McDermott and Gadbois go down. Especially Gadbois, because I've been hard on him all year and he played great tonight. I actually liked him getting in Gregory's face last week too. I hope it's not too serious.

- Gus Edwards: Stop.

Agree but I have to be the debbie downer here. Boone and their passing game was as bad as I've seen one.
 
Typical Ref BS. Perryman call, nonsense.

Dorsett TD, come on. Refs overturned the exact and I mean exact play in Duke favor the drive before. But for some reason Dorsett does not get the overturn. Horsesh**!

Even:

D'O and Golden: 3 years and 4 games to let our kids play defense the way they know best. It's a plus for the game but a huge - that it took them this long.

I better not see that soft zone again

For the first time we made a team look bad offensively. Boone didn't miss that many throws.

We finally didn't play zone when our CBs are better athletes then there WRs

That's how they really are. We were the ones making them look like Peyton Manning with or passive defense. They beat VT in Blacksburg last year and they couldn't move the ball one inch. Their bad play was only topped by VT and Logan Thomas.
 
Great over all game by the defense! We needed it and we'll need it again next week. Although Golden seems to have GT's number. Let's go Canes!
 
Cant go on the road and lose the turnover battle and miss tackles and expect to win.. Sucks were 1 fumble away from 3-1
