Duke noon kickoff

[YankeesCane]

So we'll be tired from Notre Dame and sleep walk the first half

[NCCanefan]

My best guess for this noon game is because they're looking to put the Va Tech game on in prime time. But Va Tech has to win at SMU first.

The VT-SMU game is the dreaded ACC upset game for Va Tech. Friday nite on the road.

VT 6 point dogs so they can't be upset.

Got the ABC spot because Syracuse beat SMU. Now ESPN is awaiting the results of SMU vs VT + XII/SEC matchups before deciding whether WF vs SMU will be on ESPN or ESPN2.

Noon is huge. More noon games. Take advantage of the conditions we practice in.

In November? Uhhh, no.

ABC at noon

**** Mario's feels, we need TV ratings. And TV ratings gives us more ACC money.

How hard is it for people to figure this **** out.

For the record, I will grant a one-time "Homecoming Game Exemption". But UM-Pitt at noon was just stupidity.

[TheOriginalCane]

Tell me you don’t go to the games without telling me.

He doesn't go to games, and he's trying to tell us about November heat waves.

Ri-god****-diculous...

[TheOriginalCane]

Omg, we have to get up early to drink, tailgate, and watch football? That sounds so hard and not fun whatsoever

I swear, we have some of the softest fans out there. Why is it so hard to get up for a noon game?

I don't think anyone used the word "hard", but it's certainly stupid to demand a bunch of noon games when you are trying to get the highest level of "success" money from the ACC as well as making your case to the SEC/Big 10 duopoly.
