Duke Johnson

Dolphins are putting a playoff team together with plenty patience each year a solid base Duke is a perfect fit with his leadership.
Dolphins need RB badly and it will be addressed in draft , a player like Duke will be needed in teams formation.

Hope it happens soon

i think the injuries he suffered in college slowed him down , his cutting and juke ability was never the same after the injuries.
IMO his body never adjusted to the weight gain. His freshman year he was real agile after the gain in weight he slowed down a bit. Not everyone can add weight and keep the same explosiveness.

I’d love him on the Vikings with cook. Take cook out and not lose a much of a step.
Absolutely a take on my Vikes. Wouldn't cost much, and could be our punt returner. KJ didn't really do a good job. I was hoping he would've solidified that position.

One of the most talented backs I’ve ever seen. He’s being misused.
C'mon man misused? By multiple nfl coaches? Wasn't he with chubb on the same team and chubb balled out......so how is it they used chubb properly and couldn't use Duke?

I tell u why cause Chubb is that dude. Why we always blame misusage when our players aren't successful in the nfl. Duke is a great here but not a great in the nfl....there are multiple players that are great in college that ain't star material in the nfl. There is no way for what 5 years that he being misused. I find that **** real hard to believe.

$19,644,592 career earnings

10 /20% management fee ?!?

needs one more contract... be smart with his money... get into coaching

If he is paying a 10-20% management fee he better find some new management

He graduated from my high school so I used to enjoy watching him thru college. I thought he would do more but that was based off of high school and UM.

He has had a nice career so good for him. He has done what so many kids just dream of.
Do more? Not his fault he hasn’t been in an offense that knows how to use him correctly.

Hea gotten paid which shows that nfl front offices know he’s talented.

If he played for KC, Bucs, Saints, Rams, or pats he would look soooooo much better.

You may be correct. Or, there may be a reason somebody else has always been brought in to move him down the depth chart?
Nobody on this forum said he wasn't talented and we know he has gotten paid deservedly so. Seems like he wasn't as explosive as his early days but that is just one guy's opinion. To me he is a good NFL back like a lot of other good NFL backs. Nothing wrong with that and better than most who leave college. During HS and UM stint I thought he would be our next great back in the NFL and he was more of a plug and play until better arrived. I hope he proves me wrong at the next stop.
