Once Duke stopped returning kicks, Al's STs stunk. Without Duke, Al would have lost another 10 games so far at least. Imagine what we would have done the last three years with a real coach and Duke. It is no flute that Duke leaves on top of the most impressive list of great RB in college history.
 
Can't believe we ***** wasted this guy's three years here. This is the kind of "talent" we groan about losing to other schools, and the kind we gloat about having in our "back yard." And a die hard, no less. I mean, if we could just get these kids to stay home!

What to show for it? Tying for the Coastal once. Disgusting.

I won't forgot his first carry his freshman year. He had what 5 tds in his senior year state championship? Then we saw highlights of his senior year which were jaw dropping and then he rips of a huge td run in his first carry vs BC. I thought he was going to the single greatest RB to play at Miami. He does have a bit of a fumbling issue which he has got to clean up. But this highlight shows just how impressive he was in 2 1/2 seasons. When you don't have to watch all losing, its fun to watch. The real question is how much worse would the last 3 years have been without the D[]_[]KE??????
 
If AG couldnt get it done with arguably the best RB in Miami history, one of the best TE's and one of the best LB's...what do you slurping mother ****ers think he will do when they are gone? AG will NEVER win here. When he fails....and he will, I would like to hang all his supporters up on stakes down US-1 and throw rotten chicken empanadas at them...you are as much to blame as is AG

Agreed. Never understood it. I mean, I get it - he's our best player. But still, he would us gotten us 1-2 more wins, imo.

He was a fantastic returner. PD and Coley were awful compared to The Duke!

He's our best player and he is at his best in the open field, like when returning kickoffs. A good coach puts his players in the best position to be successful and where he can be the best asset to the team.

They took him off STs because they had to lean so heavily on him on O.

Simple as that really.

We saw what life would've been w/o Duke when we lost him after the FSU game. Life was rough.

That makes Golden sound like even a worse coach than we already know he is. I didn't think that was possible.
 
i truly believe that if Duke played for OSU, Bama, FSU, or any relevant school, he would be top billed as a Heisman Candidate. Golden and his ineptitude of coaching just wasted one of greatest talents that's ever graced Coral Gables.
