Not being a homer, but he deserved more touches. Hyde was ***, and Duke was making plays when given the opportunity.

Duke's only had 10+ carries in 4 games during his 5 year career. That's ridiculous.

He's not a 20 carry a game RB - but it's criminal how little he's been used in the run game in his career. Makes it hard to appreciate how good he is.

I was watching Duke yesterday and he made some **** good blocks, that one included. He's a complete running back that is excellent catching the ball and very adapt at pass protection. He deserves more touches foing forward.

He was good blocker from day one at Miami. I remember him cutting blitzers legs off. That play showed how smart the kid is. {ushed the first defender back enough to trust QB to get make the flag so he switched. Never going to be 20 carry back in NLF but will be cashing checks a long time catching passes and protecting QB.

Duke is an all time great Cane. His numbers prove it. His teams were ****. He’s the modern Ottis Anderson. Constantly slept on cuz the teams he played for were cheeks.

That staff elected to run a true freshman Duke Johnson many times in short yardage situations even though we had larger more experienced backs on roster. That tells you a lot about that dude. One of my all time favorite Canes, hands down.
