All rides on whether Rosier is ready or not. Cutcliffe is going to have a plan and I'm sure it has to do with taking the run game out entirely, and putting pressure on our OL to protect Rosier and forcing him to throw. If Coley can dial up some easy throws to get him going, and our athletes in space vs their defense, we have a chance. But that is asking a lot for so much that hasn't been proven by these players or staff yet.
As far as defense, I hope the rumors of Scott and No D getting into it are legit. That means Scott told him the pussified defense isn't going to cut it, and we are going to go after them.
We have more talent, but are severely going to be outcoached. We'll see how the team comes out. If it's energized and hard nosed, like we really haven't seen since Golden arrived, we have a chance. We could still lose if they come out that way, but it would be close at least. Or, Duke would just simply give in if the intensity was enough. If it is the typical Al Golden flat team that comes out, we are getting smoked.
If we had Kaaya, I say we end up winning a pretty good shootout. Since he isn't playing, I'm going to say that we still come out flat, and get beat by 14+. My heart made me say 14, my gut is telling me more like 24+. My prediction is somewhere in the middle. I'll say 38-20 Duke
