The leading rusher in Hurricanes history can add “first team All-ACC” to his lengthy resume.

UM junior running back Duke Johnson was one of two running backs named first-team All-ACC by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.

The other Hurricane named to the first team was linebacker Denzel Perryman, a senior.

Canes tight end Clive Walford, left tackle Ereck Flowers and wide receiver Phillip Dorsett were named to the second-team. Punter Justin Vogel was a third-team selection.

Honorable mention choices: quarterback Brad Kaaya, left guard Jon Feliciano and center Shane McDermott on offense, and defensive linemen Anthony Chickillo and Olsen Pierre and safety Deon Bush on defense.

The fact that the ACC voted O'Leary over Walford is ******* absurd.

O'Leary is a ******* glorified slot receiver who people slobber over because of his "grit" and the fact his grand pappy was a good, white golfer. **** him.

Clive out classed him at every corner this season and unlike O'Leary can actually make **** happen once he catches the ball because, also unlike O'Leary, he catches the ball moving up field, not with his back turned to the ******* end zone.

If they give that *** clown the Mackey after the work Walford put in to take it from him I will vomit in my life.
 
O'Leary over Walford is only because of the team record. Thanks Al, costing players honors now too.

Walford not being 1st team is a joke. Kaaya not being atleast 3rd team is a joke. And the fact that besides Perryman we have no defensive players on any of the teams tells you all you need to know about golden and his boy.
 
Assuming Duke and Flowers go pro, we don't have a single returning player on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Team ACC. Yikes

Another thing: Marquise Williams is a ******* clown. Not only does Kaaya have a beef, but so does the kid from GT. That is ******* miserable. The ACC is such a ******* joke of a conference that we can't even figure out who our best players are.

By the way, while I was typing this Jameis threw another interception.

This...if UM had not crapped in the bed, we would have way more 1st and 2nd teamers. These selections are more of an indictment of our coaching staff vs. the player's season.
 
Duke should not be on the 1st team.

Duke was on the sideline during the last drive of the fsu game...............Ran from the Moment rather than embrace it.

Pitts's James Connor PLAYED HURT and lead his team to victory over Miami.

I wish you hadn't posted this man. This disgusts me. In the same amount of catches he had 159 more yards and 2 touchdowns. That's 2 whole games worth for most tight ends, or one huge career night. This is a joke.

Dorsett had a very good season but he wasnt the impact player 1st 3 all team were. its an accomplishment for him being 2nd team. Clive def should have got 1st team. that killed his chance of winning the mackey which he is better then all those TE's this year. he was rob. Deon bush should have least been on 3rd team he was balling this year.
