Just curious but how does know Richt for 22 years have any bearing on what Dugan might do? Or where you just name dropping?

No. No coach will ever leave the team. They are too invested in the team. Money doesn't matter, no amount of money will ever say a U of M coach . this will be the staff for the next 50 years or so. :eek:

Dugans has known Richt for 22 years. (He put it in an Instagram post the other day ) they go way back and it’ll have a lot to do with him staying

"Dugans has known Richt for 22 years", but, He's only worked for Richt 2 of those years, same amount of time He worked for Taggart at USF. UM better pay that man if these rumors have legs, I'd rather lose Diaz than Him.
 
We need to beat Clemson and then win the playoff and Title games. Miami's return is bigger than any assistant coach.

I agree with this, Dugans and Kool are 2 AC I don't want to see leave.

Oh it sounded like YOU had known Richt for 22 years.I was happy for your friendship with Richt But was trying to figure out what it had to do with Dugans.Makes sense now.

Yes, Dugans went to FSU, but he was recruited there by CMR. I'd like to see him stay, but we would have no problems filling that spot. This is Miami.
 
I am not saying it will happen, or that it is even likely. But people shouldn't discount the possibility that he may actually want to return to his alma mater. A lot of people value that kind of opportunity.

I hope that Dugans doesn't feel that way, I love the toughness and willingness to block he seems to be instilling. Just saying that I wouldn't be shocked if he made this move, any more than I am not shocked when a kid decides to stay home to go to school.
