Dugans and Hartley

I’ll hold judgement until I see who we replace them with. They were the only 2 on O I was on the fence about retaining. But

Dugans: Seemed to lose this group a little this year and played favorites. But I didn’t see the younguns in practice so I don’t know. The drops this group had was a red flag though

Hartley: ST awful. I also thing his recruiting legend has grown a little out of proportion. He was a very good recruiter but great? Who did he land other than Jordan and Mallory? He got a lot of kids to have UM in the final 3 but as for actually landing, who else? Legit question.

When a Lion takes over a pride the first thing he does is kill all the cubs.
The defensive guys are his already.

Don’t like either getting the boot.

Especially when we likely gonna be recruiting against them.

Dugans had our guys blocking and playing well his first two seasons. You can’t blame all the drops on him. We had QBs with terrible accuracy, Harley & Langham with brick hands, Cager the chest catcher, etc.

Hartley got good production from the TE spot and actually broke us into the JAX market which is usually a Gator/ FSU/GA recruiting area
If the first thing you mention about the receivers is "blocking", then that's the problem

So all 30+ of our drops this year were due to bad passes? If you touch the ball, you should catch the ball plain and simple.

Lmao would u call that ball from rosier to hightower along the sideline a drop against wisconsin?? Hightower touched it but he almost tore his knee up trying to get it

Thankfully I was out of the country for half this month, I didn't see that abomination of a game.

Our offense suck ***. U set the tone that things must and will change. Do yalll think Richt was the only problem on that O. Wake the **** up man. Im glad he fired them all. Coaches need to earn their checks. Winning cures recruiting problems...period

Manny worked with these guys every day for almost three years. I know they were solid position coaches (except ST for Hartley which was an abomination), but I'll differ to him. He also may want to cut ties with any Richt favorites to start anew. Say what you want about Banda and Patake, who aren't the best guys we can have on that side of the ball, but those are Manny guys through and through.

Was cool if they came back and was cool if they got the boot. Neither are great from what I have seen. But it is a savage *** move to completely sweep that sorry *** offensive staff out the door. Bye Felicia !

I don't see how anyone who saw our receivers and special teams in 2018 can support retaining Dugans or Hartley. Their awesome recruiting efforts have us currently at 45th in the rankings, only because lots of our top commits are defensive players.

We sucked. Fire the whole staff, both sides. Then tell Manny thank you and fire him too.

I thought Dugans and Hartley were average coachs, the one thing that they were good at was recruiting. Im fine with moving on from them to make a OC more welcome to come here.

See you later, fellas. I don't wish you any luck if it ***** with us. Otherwise, we're cool. That's just the way it is.

The offense was bad. Yes that’s on richt but that’s also on everyone. No problem with cleaning house to allow the new OC to add his touch and feel comfortable. That’s how you get a proven guy.
