lot of the former players are tough on Richt. but there is a standard, so I get it. with that said, it seemed like anytime they tried a rollout, it failed.
He had 20INT's with the Ravens his first 4 years in the league & had pick 6 in the Super bowl.Love Duane for being a Cane and was the last first rounder we had for a few years, but he was not absolutely great for the Ravens. Good/solid corner who played a good amount in the NFL. Like i said he wasn't bad, he just wasn't "great"
He was actually one of the few Ravens in the secondary from those great defenses that didn't make the pro bowl
I'll be honest, i am not sure they wanted him back. It sounds strange given the stats he had with them, but there were always rumblings about how highly management/coaches thought of Duane. He had 20INT's with the Ravens his first 4 years in the league & had pick 6 in the Super bowl.
His biggest mistake was leaving BMore early & signing with AZ. He was great with the Ravens imo.
So we were supposed to roll our right handed QB to the left to throw across his body? ... b/c we sure as **** weren't going to be rolling right to Burns' side.
Burns came from our left side on the play that he stripped us ...
They had developed Chris McAlister as their best Corner & drafted Gary Baxter as a 2nd round pick, they wanted Duane but he wanted more money.I'll be honest, i am not sure they wanted him back. By the time they call the play they would know what side burns is on.He definitely moved around and that was a problem also. What happens when we call a roll out and he's on that side?

Lmao at FSU lost it but we didn’t win it. That’s a clowns response.
We MADE those mother****ers lose. No two ways about it. People be dying to big up the other team and not give us props.
Don't disagree, just saying what i know what was said "inside the building."They had developed Chris McAlister as their best Corner & drafted Gary Baxter as a 2nd round pick, they wanted Duane but he wanted more money.
He was playing on his rookie deal with Bmore, but AZ signed him for $8.6mill with a $5mill signing bonus, at that time it was too much for Ozzie.
I don’t understand the ****le of this thread.
Duane Stark’s is the 1st UM cb taken in the 1st round?
Yep. Too much spoon feeding going on. Time to throw the dogs some bones with some meat on it.He's right to q certain extent but Miami did make some plays and the defense sparked the comeback. The offense made timely plays but overall pathetic basically. I just expected more out of rich offensively when he came here and have been disappointed thus far to say the least.
Burgess Owens may beg to differ.
I like that. Gotta work that into my narrative when I'm talking sports. Thanks!Lmao at FSU lost it but we didn’t win it. That’s a clowns response.

Again unless you know if it was a designed run or not it’s hard to criticize if he gave the ball to the rb, remember richt said Williams was supposed to give the ball to Robert Burns on the goaline vs savannah state so some of those runs are just predetermined reads
