Pete maybe you can help answer this. Are they leaving because they're happy with being drafted in the 4-7th and don't think they'll get drafted higher next year?

And that was fully expected, Pete cauitioned all year that McIntosh and Norton were eyeing leaving for the nfl early
 
I heard Pete say R.J. got decent grades (2nd to 3rd-4th round). How did Norton grade out (can't imagine it was above 4)?

I'm not worried about guys like Bethel and Ford. I think they'll contribute. I'm worried about numbers now. We only have Willis, Ford, and Bethel as guys that I count as quality depth. Silvera's not even signed yet (although he has a really high ceiling) and Martin hasn't proven **** yet at Miami. One injury to the aforementioned 3 guys and we're beyond screwed.

I'd even make the case that we need 2 JUCO/GT guys to come in at this juncture. With the losses we've now incurred on the d-line with Johnson transferring, we've officially hit panic mode.

Even a 4th rounder still gets a 850k signing bonus which is a lot. Kids playing for that second contract and in all of this a lot of kids just don’t like school in general. Next year I cant See Michael Pinckney staying for his senior regardless either
 
New units with depth/talent holes in year three of our rebuild is a bad thing.

Tell me our LB and Dback units will be a lot better so we can mitigate the damage?
 
Going to be hard to return to elite status when we have this type of attrition seemingly every year, while other elite teams are able to convince their guys to stay.

If you want Miami to get to the next level from this season, you can't go with that mentality. Someone posted in another thread what Ohio St. is working with on their D-line; that's what Miami should be striving for.
 
Wish mike jack leaves this year, he has potential to rise in the draft process with his good tape outside of a few games this year, size, speed and production

How many scholarship players will be on the roster next fall? Less or more than 75?
 
Man what was the strength of our team is now bone dry. Sans DJax, Jackson, Willis, bethel.
 
If this news doesn’t get Michael Thompson in the sack Idk what will. Least we know there’s no way for Nesta to have second thoughts. We need a RJ DT though.
