DT & DE Portal Targets?

Potential Depth DT:

- Bishop Thomas, GSU, 6'2" 290lbs. 75.7 Overall Defense Grade, 70.8 Run D Grade, 70.3 Pass Rush Grade. 29 Solo Tackles, 19 stops, 16 Pressures (7% of Rush Snaps). Seems like a good athlete

Any ways makes me think the stats I'm using to point out certain guys is pretty good.

Average production grades, but has played in a lot of games and is a good athlete

Think he committed to UVA... but idk if he signed already...

They didn’t put weight on Messidor. He was already playing DE here at around 275. And he played DT last year in the 275-280 range. This is the smallest he has been since he was at wvu and they had him playing Nt at 260-265. And I think D$ said it’s Blount that wants to play DT. He is a lil stiff but I don’t think he will ever have the size to be a full time DT. He likely will play both next year

I know Blount personally and his family. Blount does not want to play dtackle he’s playing there because Bain won’t come off the field and he was able to contribute more than the d tackles we have. Stop lying saying that’s where he wants to be why the **** would he want to play out of his position.

Mf I didn’t say it. I was repeating what was said. Maybe the Bain thing is the reason why but don’t be coming at me like im just making up shít

I dont see Blount "wanting" to play tackle he played it on passing downs just to get on the field....dude was having a rough go inside and was getting b on a good motor. Strength wise he obviously didnt have it like that as a straight up interior guy. I would leave him outside as a sde in Bains role and play him similar to this year bringing in Lightfoot to rush

If Blount doesn't want to play inside it makes things interesting at SDE.We have 2 5*s there in Blount going into year 3 and Flowe going into his second season.Both want to start or at worse play major snaps.If Mario brings Wilson does 1 of them get impatient and hits the portal.That also means we need another portal DT,can't have Carter be our 3rd DT,he's too inexperienced for that role.

I mean Lowe will only be a sophomore and coming off injury. It is the transfer portal era so he might fill some type of way, but there is plenty of PT available.
 
I think next year we will rotate more - Bain and Mesidor rarely came off the field. Bring Wilson in and him and Blount start at DE and you have Moten and Scott inside too. Lowe and Lightfoot would get lots of snaps as well at DE (Lightfoot specifically on passing downs).

It was reported somewhere that he wants to play inside. Don't shoot the messengers
