DT & DE Portal Targets?

Depth and competition

We have little returning experience and Lightfoot, as super talented as he is, isn’t an every down DE

In the summer during player interviews before the start of fall camp Pickett said he was 230 and in that same interview Lightfoot said he was 227. They both said the staff gave them a goal to get up to 230 by fall camp, Lightfoot even said he just missed the target by 3 pounds.

Pickett is thicker (pause) than Lightfoot, he is shorter and heavier. Of the two Pickett has the frame to put on the most weight.

Pickett definitely looks smaller than 230

I hope picker stays , he can use him next year .

A couple of those guys you mentioned are just names at the position and have proven nothing. If you can upgrade a McConathy for a Damon Wilson, you do it. Injuries happen.

None of those guys is ready to be a DE1, imo.

We are going to have far more rotation this year regardless, but Lightfoot is absolutely ready idk why y'all hate on him so much. Blount Should stick at edge on run downs and imo is definitely ready. Lowe apparently is believed to be ready from a size and talent standpoint so idk why anyone would doubt that. Scroggins not a starter but rotational guy. Need 1 more
