Gaby just reported we are in contact with Smith and Rusaw from Bama. Smith is likely a DT here…Rusaw is an edge (who maybe can play some backer? listed in the 240s)

Smith made noise as a sophomore but at least from a PDF standpoint, fell off a little this year. Rusaw is/was a starter for them, but broke his foot in the first Georgia game, and then came back and played the last 3 or 4 games I believe.

They were high school teammates as well. Same year I believe. Smith 2 to play 1, Rusaw 2 to play 2.

Rusaw seems like the better player at this point, but both have seen plenty of time last 2 yrs

I don't think Rusaw is a projection at all. He's a very good player…Smith may have reached his ceiling, not sure.
