I will preface this by saying Im giddy to be 6-1 and have a man crush on King. I dont want to take anything away from the win tonight, but the discipline tonight had me furious. A couple examples
- Roche gets a personal foul for retaliating against the OL sitting on him. Yes, he was responding but suck it up and take one for the team
- Pope's unsportsmanlike penalty, which if I remember correctly was after the onside kick and set us back when we had all the momentum. I could be wrong. Just go make a play
- Blades jumping offside on 4th and 5 and getting saved by the referee calling it on the offense
- Frierson giving away the blitz 4-5 times
- Pope and Wiggins with back to back drops...maybe not discipline but still ****ed me off
- The terrible coverage on the kickoff return
- Can we return a kick without a penalty?
These are most upperclassmen too. I hate to make a post about this after the big win but we can be so much better with some improvement here
