What time are people planning to leave if driving from Austin or Houston tomorrow morning?
Expectation you get there latest by 9:30? 10?Heading out from Houston at 7:00am. No matter how you cut it, you're going to be stuck in traffic on the roads into CS. So leaving early is a must.
leave EARLY. I went to the game a couple of years ago and friends who stayed in Houston were stuck for hours. What time are people planning to leave if driving from Austin or Houston tomorrow morning?
Thats correct. 90 minutes w/ no traffic.leave EARLY. I went to the game a couple of years ago and friends who stayed in Houston were stuck for hours.
Pretty sure it's a solid 90 min at least with no traffic, if memory serves me right.
It's usually 1.5 hours from Houston to CS. Tomorrow, with traffic that will likely resemble a Mad Max scene, I am thinking 2/2.5 hours. That puts arrival at 9-9:30. I also asked around with a couple Aggies and they think that is a realistic assessment.Expectation you get there latest by 9:30? 10?
It takes forever just to walk around the stadium. It's massive, and people are everywhere. You might think you're there, until you realize you're not. It's usually 1.5 hours from Houston to CS. That said, also remember that A&M is massive. It takes time to walk from your parking spot to the stadium.
We're planning on leaving from the airport Marriot closer to 6AM. Traffic will be a **** show.So leave by 7 from Houston?
