I would love for Ed to come in and keep Banda as the DC who can work with Ed too. Takes pressure off of Banda and seriously a legend like Ed would open the flood gates for dbs all over tp want to come

Well Hartley just produced a Freshman AA, has sent 2 TEs to the league since he came to Miami and sent 3 more TEs to the league when he was at Marshall.

Dugans has been a beast recruiter of WRs
 
Banda and rumph stay put and and reed is not a coach which allows for a ST coach. Martin can kick rocks. Seider would be a monster get

not tee martin want a spread/air raid guy at oc and martin is same old pro style offense. we need someone who will run either the meyer/mullen offense or a version of the air raid some sorta spread and martin isn't that
 
I'd like Applewhite as not only does he bring a spread philosophy but I'm sure he wants to rebuild his name after that UH debacle which means he will proably be working his **** off

Plus as a bonus he opens up more to Texas recruiting and maybe finding some QBs from there

That and he can open up a way to get some defensive players from Texas too because LSU basically lives there getting studs yearly with A&M
 
Applewhite has had primary play calling duties for about 3-4 years. He didn’t call plays at Texas until 2012, and had only one season at Houston since Herman was his first year and last year Briles called the offense.


He’s not that good.

Yes, Texas (I know because I live here) is like the state of Jawja/Alabama/Louisiana where its a good ole boy coaching network and having someone like Applewhite whose already a known commodity can really help us snag a kid or two we probably never would have even thought of when lining up the board early on

I'd like to see us steal Briles from FSU. That would be a savage move. With the money we are paying the rest of the staff, I imagine we'd have far more than enough to get him here. Talk about Nole tears.
