dre quinn was a guy i never thought would come here. I like when Mario goes into the midwest or an off brand area to poach their elites, yallf finding out those metro atl kids arent much diff than s.fla kids in recruiting. lol especially places like gwinett. Those kids parents are mostly transplants to atlanta area with no allegiance.
Should have a war chest available for portal if we end up missing on all the whales.Gwinnett County does not **** with us, Bryce Perry, Dre Quinn, Deuce Geralds. DL class would have been elite if they could get 1 more highly touted DE and DT. We still got the portal.

should only need one guy too...cause it looks like guys like Lightfoot atleast situational are a hit, and scroggins/ pickett have flashed. Have to see how Lowe looks coming back...Blount is ready.
A good portal edge i care about more than landing one of those high schoolers honestly.

Bain and Mesidor are both showing a ton of skill and technique in their play. That’s really high end development.

Scott is making nil and has shown he is a player in the last few games...were going to portal 1 dt atleast though regardless.
heres hoping to a step up in russell and jones taking one more step up..my young boy simpson has already shown he belongs.

Did Moten do the whole SR day walk deal yesterday? He’s the key, IMO. If he were to return, and your top 3 are Scott, Moten, and Simpson - then yes I’d still bring in a DT for depth purposes but it doesn’t necessarily need to be a big ticket high $ guy IMO. It could be a Branson Deen veteran type who is a backup and gives you decent snaps. I just feel we’d have much bigger priorities than DT if Moten returns. Plus, feel much better about the run defense in general with Hetherman running the show. DT play was a big ? entering this season and him/Lewis have shown they are capable of exceeding expectations with that unit in regards to run defense.
Edge is a completely different story. We need a big money high impact guy there from the portal. We can’t just give Lowe/Lightfoot/Scroggins/Pickett their spot. They need someone to push them and up their game. Plus we don’t know what Lowe is yet.

big time portal edge....solid dt portal target from g5 would be my go to if we could get moten back. Moten can make himself a mid rounder by oming back and beasting. hes been real good this year either way
