2026 Dre Quinn 4* DE from Buford, GA (Buford HS)

Definitely need to tap into GA. Would love for us to recruit Terriious Favors. No reason to let a talent like that go to Boise.

Been a fan of Quinn for a minute…I hope it's not an either/or with him and Lafayette. Both of them and Charles is a nice haul at DE.

I moved to Buford in the spring from NYC. Amazing program and stadium. But the 2 Def Linemen we are recruiting, play kind of soft for their size. I played HS and college- and DE this size should be unblockable
and chucking people at the HS level. They both look real pretty on the field, but I dont see them imposing their will and dominating the way you would expect 6’5 240lb edge players would. Love the Safety Ty Boogie though, but i think he locked with UGA

Which 2 DL? Ur inflating Dre Quinn’s measurables he’s closer to 6’3 230lb. Regardless u might be right, how much do you think the competition plays a part in it? From my understanding Buford plays against some pretty good schools.
 
Quinn would probably be last guy on our Edge board I’d think.

Tank Jones, BPW are top 2.
I think we prob land Lafayette. We have Charles. Jordan Campbell may end up at Edge I guess.

BPW Is more of a 3 TECH imo…And Tank Jones probably 50/50 to end up there at 270+ already. I don't believe the Campbell edge talk from Gabby either.

Nah I doubt it…Not gonna drop a local kid (already thin on locals this cycle, and although I understand it wasn't a great local year, and we are doing very well nationally there's just no reason in November to go out of your way to burn bridges) this late in the process.

Not just that, we need LB.

Of course he will be… Unless he grows into a one dimensional jack/ edge. What is 6'2 210…215 tops? **** I don't even know if he’s that . I guess early in his career (been making plays in Dade for 4 years) you could have maybe saw a safety, but the plan all along seems to project him to LB

As much as LB recruiting is a ? mark, I think it's pretty clear with two in the fold they aren't panicking, and will address it further in the portal with 1 and maybe 2 if we get more defections if expected (Between C.Smith only chance is a year 6, Bonner, B.Washington, **** maybe even Aguirre if he is still only locked in as LB 3 next year, Pruitt who is rumored to be at other positions) there could definitely be more than 1 of those leaving. And the reason why we aren't offering everything moving is because we have two in the fold.
