Has big sloppy 55 declared, I cant wait for him to leave
Does the school provide any guidance to these kids on these issues? Not the ‘where you project’ question, but the stuff you mention?A complete misunderstanding of the system by this younger generation. In today's salary cap environment, rookie contracts are some of the most valuable assets held by any professional franchise. Watching and reading some of the "you better take your shot now" advice isn't just flawed, it's an unnecessary risk for some players. "Oh, but I can get hurt my senior year and..." Yes, there's insurance for that if your potential is sufficiently valuable. You know what there isn't insurance for? Getting cut because you're a 6th or 7th rounder or UDFA. This is even more extreme now than just a few years ago with guys like Forston. NFL front offices are looking for more finished products they can keep at a low cap hit for 4-5 years!
Has nothing to do with coaches. This is been happening for years.Exactly why Rumph deserves to be fired. Bandy leaving tells me they know he’s not coming back or something. No chance he actually thinks it’s a good idea
Guys like Ahmmon capping on twitter using Shaq and Mike P as examples of how coming back guarantees nothing. Recent Alumni, current players, etc. The culture problem at Miami is so poor
Not sure. But, from their actions, I’m skeptical they’d listen. Their core issues start in K-12 and the people around them.Does the school provide any guidance to these kids on these issues? Not the ‘where you project’ question, but the stuff you mention?

Again why come back to get Corch'ed up
Doesn't the school allow them to come back and finish their degrees at anytime at no cost? I think Shalala implemented that.
I don't get why ppl are upset. These boys are gonna kill it in the XFL.
Gavin got worse every year he was here crazy
Exactly...how many of the guys who have left early over the years have actually gone back to finish their degree? Didn't Kayaa just graduate...4 years after leaving? I would venture to say he's probably one of the smarter guys, academia-wise, too.I always said i would go back for my Masters later - yeah, that never happened. The longer you're out the harder it is to go back. I love to learn but hated classes and standardized testing. In the end it didn't matter for me bc my industry is about experience and decision making as much as it is degrees.
So i ask, why not finish it out now while getting bigger, stronger, faster (possibly) and more experienced so you are at your absolute peak for that NFL job interview?
Pretty spot on to what I’ve said before and I’ll continue to post honest observations I get from scouts. The NFL isn’t like the NBA where potential is king, if you can’t contribute right away, certainly by year 2, then you’re almost certainly out of football
Yeah they should come back to end up like Shaq and Pickney
Bandy thinking about declaring early is because of a family situation, not wanting to get the **** out of Miami. But go ahead and keep sh*tting on Miami every chance you get.Corn Elder and Mike Jack we’re better and had better measurables than Bandy and they both went in the 5th round. Bandy is crazy to even entertain going pro
Kids just want to get the **** out Miami
Yes but they come back with no room/board, no training table, no health insurance, no books/supplies, no tutoring, and no stipend.
Or maybe they just tired of playing for free and see their window
