Yearby wasn’t going to improve his stock. It didnt matter. He had reached his ceiling and most likely was going to fall in the depth chart.
Bottom line is...I know a guy who gets paid millions of dollars to make sure when these kids “make bad decisions” that the team still have sufficient numbers...
While I'm with most of that, if they haven't graduated and aren't getting drafted, it's a dumb move. Even if they never use their degree, the job market often requires you have one. That right there opens a lot of doors.
Yes, you can cone back and finish your degree for free, that's tough to do. Balancing a class schedule while working and whatever can be tough. Most don't have the drive for that.
