The point is to emphasize that the talent was there in the first place and playing in ACC games while the folks saying the leagues aren’t comparable are incorrect because of these guys can dominate the SEC in the same manner as the ACC.

I don’t see the conference bleeding talent and they are bringing talent just as talent is leaving. Players are moving in and out of every conference.

Yea but we are talking top drafted talent.. teams like NCST and VT bled alot of talent last year.. But I get overall point.

The talent level at VT will absolutely increase. I don’t know what to expect from Dabo. He seems totally lost in this new era.

This goofball was the biggest Grant-of-Rights truther on the planet ... "nobody's leaving until 2036 blah, blah, blah" Hale is gonna be waving that ACC Pride flag until the league collapses and ESPN pink slips him.

Mario has Miami rolling in spite of its conference affiliation, not because of it

Was thinking the same thing last night watching all their picks fly. We were soooo fortunate to beat them the way we did (insanely heavy sarcasm).

Lebron, Wade, and Bosh were a missed Ray Allen 3 pointer away from going 1-3 in championship games. Talent matters but it's not the only thing that matters.

At the end of the day it's the players that win championships and the hungriest players are the most dangerous. These schools like Ohio State and Notre Dame and Texas A&M make it more about the school and traditions and cultish culture and I genuinely think it takes away from the players owning their own success. Just look at Bain, Mesidor, and Cici. When those guys get called it seems way more about them than Miami. Not that it isn't about Miami but their individual success is celebrated. When these Ohio State guys get called it feels like a product from a factory. It feels bland.

It is mind boggling when you think of that deal and how B1G is already making more than ACC, ALOT MORE and still will be able to renegotiate before ACC even can think about it to get an even bigger bag.. Like how is that possible..

Say what we want about Jim Phillips' CCG selection process, but Duke — Dook. The same team that lost to UConn! — won the ACC football championship last season.

The ACC, collectively speaking, is a minor league conference in football.

And it rightly gets compensated as such

I think it gets compensated as such after the fact, go look at numbers when the deal was struck ACC was ahead of B1G in terms of talent production to NFL.. The contract was what killed the ACC not the reverse.. Now its a minor league but thats because the leadership BEFORE phillips put it there.. Honestly I wouldnt be surprised if espn bought it to kill it
