Down to Fedora and Applewhite according to BJ and Lauzin

Fedora can do better than Temple. Come to Miami for 1-2 years, make roughly the same money, and then leave for a better HC job.

We just hired the guy who was former coordinator at Miami taking Temple job. Why is that job now lower than coordinator at Miami? Granted we prefer he come to Miami.

As I said in the other thread, I'm calling BS on the Fedora to Temple rumor. It's been widely reported that Temple prefers a defensive-minded coach. There are zero legitimate reports about Fedora interviewing for that job.

However just in case it does happen, let this be the first "we dodged a bullet" article to make us all feel better*:

*I'm still hoping for Fedora.
Completely agree, haven't seen a thing on Temple interviewing Fedora. I have seen a lot of fake insiders on Twitter hedge their bets by saying that he's interviewing. No proof yet.

Does Fedora really want to take the chance that he fails at Temple? Subpar athletes, tough recruiting grounds, non-P5 football? Assuming the money is close, it would seem to make more sense that he come to a bigger program in a talent rich area and serve as OC for about 1-2 years and then bolt for a big P5 program with significant resources. Just seems like the latter is a better option for his career long term. But who knows, the guy may think he is above an OC position and is willing to go small school HC route. Time will tell.
