So #1/#2/#5 all lose within a span of 3 days. This should help in Miami's ranking if they can beat UNC.

IF Miami beats UNC (trust they will be ready to play) then we go in to Tally as the #3 or #4 team in the country.
 
I hope so, but I feel like I have a feeling we won't move up more than 2 spots. I feel like every time the #1 or #2 team has lost, they stay in the top 5 still.

Also, I see you're a mod, I have a question about my avatar, every time I try using one it says "unable to save" even though it fits the requirements.

There is no reason we shouldn't be at highest ranked 3 loss team in the nation.

I forgot which team is #1 in RPI and #2 in SOS.

#1 Michigan
#2 Duke
#3 Gonzaga

#5 Miami

Avatars aren't my thing and alot of changes have been made to the site. PM Dmoney or USNAVYCANE Unless one

Why do you think we're passing Indiana? Seriously. If we beat UNC, we'll have two home wins against unranked teams in the week. Not that impressive. We won't have a 7 position swap with IU based on this week.

Which post am I reading? The one when you said #1/2 losing don't drop out of the top 5 or the post where you said we would be #5 in the country. Because you kind of are playing it both directions.

again, basketball rankings are nothing like footballs. doesnt matter what we did this week as long as we take care of business. voters still need to make up for ******** us most of the year.
 
Indiana is not dropping out of the top 5. Most likely we will be #7 unless any of Duke, Gonzaga, Arizona, or Florida lose this weekend. Any of those lose we will move up one more spot. Two lose we will move up 2 spots...and so on. If all 4 lost and coupled with Kansas loss we would be #4.

I agree with that up to a point. When you are in the top 10 the rankings are just like football. You need the team ahead of you to lose so you can move up.

No voter who has us at 8 this week is going to say, "you know I think Miami is more of a 6 after they beat the teams they were supposed to beat". (if all the teams ahead of us won)
 
there is no way they dont put us in the top 5 if we have a good showing vs UNC. just my opinion.
