Time to put Jon Richt in the support staff and hire a real QB coach. Dorsey would be perfect, probably would need some type of other title to come as well.

He was fired by the panthers for those that haven’t heard.

Having his son as his QB coach was part of the lure to coach here.

Same thing with him calling the offense.

Some of our posters just keep bringing this **** up like its going to change, but it 100% will not.

We will not demote the head coach's son, and our 10th coach will not be a QB coach.

Got a better chance of bringing in Ed Reed as the 10th coach, than Dorsey, and I doubt that happens.
 
How many otherwise successful NFL coaches take a demotion to the college level with the same title (or worse)?

you don’t have to demote his son at all

That’s why I mentioned he would probably need an additional title. I think both Co-OC titles are taken but I’m sure they could make something up that sounds good.
 
Dorsey will be attached at the hip to Pat Shurmur once he is hired as a head coach. Dorsey is a pro coach, unfortunatly.

It's not about the title.

You don't leap backwards like that, especially after working the way he did to get where he is now.
