@Rellyrell do you have any intel on Donte'?

Hearing he’s locked in w UGA, but most likely will be taking some visits. Also heard from my boy that UO, SC & UCLA r ones to watch. Didn’t hear anything about us; heard UCLA is doing due diligence in coming to oft forgotten So Cal powerhouses, since The Trinity League teams (i.e Mater Dei, St John Bosco) r getting the most love & exposure.

Miami is making a serious run at the Long Beach (Calif.) Poly standout and while talks have been preliminary mainly with staffer Terry Jefferson, Wright is interested enough to figure out a visit to Coral Gables this offseason.
“They’re starting to pick up and starting to be toward the top,” Wright said.
“They’re talking to me a lot more now so me and Miami are building a very strong relationship. I talk to coach (Terry Jefferson), that’s mainly who I talk to.”
The Hurricanes’ run to the national championship game has also intrigued Wright as he works through his recruitment while being committed to the Bulldogs.
“That’s big,” Wright said.
“I want to go somewhere where we can win and compete at the highest level so that’s big in my eyes and I hope they come out with the win for sure.”

Let’s see if he visits, maybe that can change things.

Thanks @Rellyrell . Wonder what the UGA connection/infatuation is?

That I’m not sure of besides maybe development. But after his visits I should know more. I’m just glad Poly is starting to have some top players again. A lot of political bull **** in the school district has made it difficult for top tier players to stay at the school.

4got Donte was on that staff now. He’s 100% plugged into L.A. That’s where he’s from.
Yeah. Played for the juco coach I worked for in LA

Lot of talk about how he’s an elite recruiter, but not great developer of talent stemming back from USC/Oregon days .

Hence y working at a vehicle like UGA shines him up, b/c he’s a DB coach by name, but Smart is really overseeing it all, & that’s Smart’s forte.

Visiting for a spring practice. Was here for Battle Miami but couldn't visit campus (likely due to the championship run)
