For the last 10 weeks most of you have trash Golden and company, to the point of flying banners and sending messages to recruits on twitter not to come to the U, etc. Now you don't understand why 18/19 year kids have seconds thoughts about going to Miami, are you kidding me ?? I love my Canes, but our fan base is total S###t.

Yup the fans made this team 6-7. The fans made the team lose the last 4 games. The fans are the reason for the ****** defense. The fans are the reason Al Golden hasn't made changes to his staff to improve things. Who knew they were so powerful

Shouldn't we get credit for wins if we get blamed for all the other stuff? Al Golden is a worthless piece of ****

None of the fans support the team. Big money programs have 100k at games against division 2 and we cant get 40k when we was undefeated for 6 games 2 years ago. We have the worst fan base in america and to top it off the clowns who dont support the program are tweeting and flying banners, why the **** would anyone want to go play here

Players would be falling all over themselves to go 6-6 every season at Miami if it wasn't for those pesky banners. I see your logic op.

Most of you can't read either. Look at the original post- it says nothing about blaming fans for our poor on-field performance. Rather it speaks to overwhelming negativity toward the team and the coaches that was displayed publicly by some of our so-called "fans", which subsequently influenced the decisions of 18 year old kids. It's pretty easy to understand.

Sounds like florida and texas

Yep, let's throw out two schools that are committed to their football program.

There fans are commited to the program there is no half empty stadiums and no mass tweeting to kids to not to come your right

A packed stadium makes all of the difference..., they don't want to play in front of no empty seats when they can go to a school and have 90000 plus cheering them on...

The stadiums were hard to fill last decade. What's your point?

**** Golden, James, Shalala, and the BOT.

Hope they fall down an elevator shaft and none are ever heard from again!

OP has some points. It is not our fault golden sucks and we went 6-7, but telling recruits don't come here adds to that along with our ****** attendance at home games. It's not one thing that keeps these kids away is everything.

Yup because the Orane Bowl stayed packed when they were playing against teams not name FSU or UF.

We lose in the ACC championship game instead of another 6-7 year and recruits would be more incline to come here

UM held the keys. They decided to fight the fans instead of fixing the program, and they'll continue to lose that battle.

A small collection of dimwits and trust fund weasels at UM can't win a fight against what is left of the real rabid UM fan base. We care way more about the program than they do, and we've got the numbers.

UM could have fixed the program. Instead, they ****ed in the fans' faces and just assumed we'd go along with it and forget what a disaster our program is. They underestimated the fans' determination and overestimated Folden's worth.

The continued toxicity around the program, which is only going to grow worse by the way, is all UM's fault. Imagine the positivity and hope that would be surrounding the program right now if they had done the right thing and fired the obvious failure and replaced him with Butch Davis or some other huge upgrade.

They flocked to uf after a 4 win season something is in the water or shall i say the stands and behind social media.

Yeah. That's it. It's the stadium and the fans. You're the dopey battered wife who blames herself for burning the meatloaf.

You know what recruits don't want? They don't want to play for a loser. When they have other excellent options they're speaking loudly and clearly by rejecting the fat rat.
