Pretty solid in 2010 & 2011. He ha geoff collins as dc in 2010 and he is the dc at uf now and todd orlando in 11 and he is at utah state and has had very good defenses.

Todd Orlando is with Houston now. With the coach we should be bringing in!
 
Im not gonna hold a celebration at my house if this guy is hired. His record wasnt the best at FIU but to be fair didnt he lose a bunch of scholarships due to some sactions there. If we are gonna look at his record we should point that out.

If these quislings actually hire Mario Cristobal to be the next head coach at UM then I am done with this program. And I mean done!

I think they are considering him with a couple other guys. But Al is done, Cincy was the nail in the coffin.
 
So we have 15 years of the three stooges, and now they want to give us Shemp? Mario will make the last three look competent, which is a very scary thought for the program. BOT better get that academic ranking moving in the right direction fast since it looks like they only want to compete with the Ivy League. BBB, save UM football!

I have thrown some names out there previously and all have been debated and dissected. Hermann, Chip, and Butch in that order are all candidates I would be estatic if we were able to pull. Just based on our history I have no reason to believe UM sacs up & hires any of them. Hermann will very likely be gone before BJ even pulls trigger on AG. BTW BJ should already be gone and new AD should be here already laying the ground work for his new hire but I digress. Chip I believe could be had but would require an aggressive play by UM and major $$. Which in my opinion would be worth every penny. Even if they failed I would at least look at BOT with a bit of respect vs the zero I have for them now. Then there is Butch. The timing and circumstances of all of this is so ridiculously perfect and seemingly easy barring something we don't know about with UNC thing. That said I don't believe UM can get by the whole NCAA image BS. I think this would be major headline hire like we interrupt this program to announce Butch back to the U type hire. That said, publicly that same media would look to shred us for the hire. All JMO. All that being said my #1 vote for the next coach at UM is Gary Pinkel. Complete pipe dream hire I know based on how successful he has been at Missouri. One of those hires that everybody on the outside would be like why would he leave the SEC for the ACC? Maybe outside chance he may look at Miami in the center of recruiting heaven and the weak *** conference we play in that he could put us in the playoffs every year. He can have great success at Mizzou maybe even pull NC but at the U he could build a dynasty and go wack all those SEC powers in the playoffs every year. Make Saban his *****! Who wouldn't want that. Not gonna happen but he is my first choice. BRING ME GARY PINKEL!
