I was just driving home listening to sports radio here in JAX and the host said" I know of all the coaching hires this season, I know one that's definite and that's miami. Mario cristobal will be the coach. He said he would be absolutely shocked if it's not him. He said schiano doesn't want it. He said golden to get the ax either with a couple games left or right after the finale. ". Now I know you are probably wondering how a guy in JAX would know this. he wouldn't say who told him but it's no secret. He has been broadcasting college football games with Gino toretta for about 10 years now. They are good friends. So this is really coming from gino. Take it for what it's worth.

I call crap. i don't believe they could be that stupid. At least Golden appeared like a decent option at the time of hire. There is nothing impressive about Mario.

I doubt the validity of the claim, but if Mario is the next coach, then I hope to God that Saban pulled a miracle and rewired this guy's brain because if not, then fold the **** program.

Under what premise would he have any reason to make this ish up. They were just running through this weekends games and after they were done he offered this up. Co host said sounds like someone talked to a friend since early in the week cause we thought maybe schiano. Then he said schiano doesn't eant it and it will be cristobal. Said he would be more shocked based on the conversation than he would have been had spurrier not gotten the florida job. Obviously Gino sold him. Hopefully between now and the actual decision something changes. Or hopefully Gino is full of ish.

Two things,

1) I love when a thread has this title. I immediately book mark it so i can go back and neg to bolivian at a later date if necessary.

2) That hire is the caliber of hire I absolutely expect this school to make. All these other names that people are throwing out is just spinning your wheels. The AD and the BOT have proven they are too stupid to be expected to do any different.

Why wait neg away now. Lmao. Like I care about that crap. I don't even know where to find it. I love how every calls bull**** and knows absolutely nothing but a guy who has worked with toretta, traveling the country for 10+ is guaranteed bull****. I never said it was guaranteed.
