Don't look now (RE: Canes Defense)...

Shaq looked a little lost out there...

That is to be expected from all three freshman LBs throughout the season. The more reps they get, the better more "seen this before" reactions will become.

If you compare their play against a few other ACC LB units, these young men would be starting in those programs as well.

Strong indications Miami has lightning in a bottle with these three. Impressive.

ON POINT!!! Let's appreciate and enjoy what we have. What a short memory most of us see to have! Remember Gorlden??

3rd ranked defense in the country right now. I don't care who we have played, I will take that.

I agree when you say that's to be expected but observations shouldn't be skewed by excuses. Your statement is something a Golden Gulper would say. Love Shaq and what he brings but he looked out of place YESTERDAY and I'm sure it will get corrected. Mike Smith has outplayed him last 2 games. It's a great problem to have.

Go Canes!!!

Remember when you were all shook up about us playing App store? Now you are leader of the pom pom brigade WTF?

I think the 3.5 points spread is fairly accurate.

Wasn't implying excuses, just observing what I believe to be point in fact.

Its all in perspective. Compared to a 3yr elite LB, of course any of the three freshman LBs arent going to mesure up in a variety of categories...physical size, ability to get entire defense set in a timely manner, ability to instinctively react and "just know" where the play is going etc...

Without question and no debate...however...

when you look at their development to date, so far these three are ahead of schedule...they are lightning in a bottle...

Can that.bottle get smashed, sure, but so far so good, and they are expected to only improve their play from here...big test against GT that will require disciplined assignment football...

As for Golden anyrhing...fuqn please...you haven't read many of my posts (as few as they might be)...delusional like your brother cane since defective birth...

Getting Colbert back is a big deal. We've lucked out in that we don't play a team who can complete a forward pass until FSU. The QB talent drastically increases on the 2nd half of the season and we'll need all the coverage help we can get.

Shaq looked a little lost out there. His hustle made up for the ME's he had and he gave up the TD. Mike Smith is quietly making it some competition for the mike spot. I'm sure the bye week practices will feel like fall camp. Love what I'm seeing right now on D.

Go Canes!!!

That wasn't shaqs man, mccloud forgot to cover him. One thing That needs to improved is on the linebacker blitzing among all of them. Noticed a few times yesterday that they were picking up out blitzes good with the linebackers leaving holes on some run plays

I addressed your offensive ignorant post in another post. Bottom line is I was wrong for I figured it was going to be a closer game than it was, and I am glad I was wrong. Going forward I guess you should change your Post Name to "GOD" for I'm quite sure you have never been wrong. Don't waste my time dude. Get a life but most importantly, have a good life!! You and your ignorance are the type of things in life I try to avoid.

Owens will take back one starting spot. McCloud is a talent, but he is still out of position too often. Pinkney and Shaq are instinctual enough to cover any mental errors due to youth and inexperience. Owens is a baller. If he weren't injured he would have started from day 1.
