Golden goes and Kaaya stays - Kaaya becomes an elite QB

Golden stays and Kaaya stays - Kaaya becomes the center of the team. A quarterback can't make up for a weak defense.

Golden goes and Kaaya goes - Kaaya sits out a year and ends up playing backup somewhere or fading into obscurity. See Dennis Fortay for details.

Kaaya's best chances are for Golden to leave. Hopefully his mom will be able to look past the uncertainty of Golden's departure and see the reward on the other side.
 
I think we should have a contest to see who can get blocked by the most Golden nuthuggers.

I've been a minority all my life... You just keep going. Be proud of who you are.
 
Obviously no parent of a player that is going to be here next year is going to be saying bad things about the coach. That would only be bad for her son, and pointless to do. They developed a relationship with Golden while he was recruiting, so obviously she's going to be loyal to him. Plus it is currently a mystery who the next coach would be.
It's no surprise she, or any other current parent would say these things.

But, If Golden was fired and Butch was brought in, I'd be willing to bet after a month or two, she and every other current parent and recruits' parent would be much happier than they currently are.
