Those that are getting their information about the situation from the Miami side are barking up the wrong tree. The admin/BOT insiders are going to tell you he is not being fired.

Miami is not going to fire him;however, they would gladly accept his resignation. Frankly, I think they expect him to resign. The guy is ****** miserable. Coaching is a 15 hour per day job. Hard to do that if you hate it.

The only logical conclusion is that Golden has not decided if he wants to come back. Monday is his own personal deadline for him to decide. I think Miami would gladly pay some of the buyout of Golden wants out. On the other hand, it's hard to leave a million bucks on the table when you know your next job in TV will pay much less.

If he guy a buyout resignation it'd be less than his firing buyout but more than his cu rrent salary look up Muschamp's contract.

I don't even know what the PM is about, but now I want it.

Now that's marketing.

Wow, This thread is still going? You could get the idea that people have some interest in Al leaving. Question, if he goes, is this a 8th street pots and pans level event or do we break out gas cans and guns for osu style celebration? Just want to be prepared.

So, is there a campus-wide firing freeze at UM until a new president comes in, or are they reserving that for only the MOST overpaid employees?
