Actually, if Folden had half a brain, he'd know he's cooked here, and he'd work out a resignation package on family health issues.

Everyone in the dumb *** media will eat that up because they can reference his wife's hospitalization a couple months ago. He can spin the cloud and his rebuild and all that other fake ****, and dopes will buy it.

Do a year or two at ESPN and have people fall in love with his toothy smile and glib analysis, and then slide back into the MAC if he wants to.

Stick around here another year, and the results will be cataclysmic. He will either fall out from a myocardial infarction or go completely nuts from the constant harassment, his wife will go nuts and split, and his future will be bleaker than Vern's visions.

On top of all that personal carnage, UM will destroy its program because recruiting is dead already and the roster will be all 2 star NJ slugs. The next HC will have no material to work with. When he doesn't win right away because there's no material (or he sucks), the whole cyclone will start again.

AL is a smart guy. He can't coach for a **** but he is smart. He has to see the writing on the wall. His agent has to be advising him to ask for a mutual separation. He has to know that by taking a reduced buy out now he might be able to land a gig at Indiana or Purdue or some **** hole like that next year.

I just can't see why he would want to go through an entire year of ****. No staff changes? No end of the year presser? Where the **** is AL right now anyways? He has fallen off of the face of the earth. They have to be negotiating a buy out right?? WTF?

WTF is wrong with some of you people.

The guy clearly marks in his OP that he's not predicting Golden gone, he's simply passing along with a source , who has been reliable in the past, told him.

Furthermore...he gave a timeline AFTER the weekend.

Be mad at the fact we have the worst coach in America. Be mad at the fact we have the worst administration probably in the history of collegiate athletics. But all this anger pointed at Geo is misplaced....guy was just trying to keep us informed.

If nothing else...this thread gave me more temporary hope than I've had over the last 3 years in regards to this program (not including that brief moment last offseason where we thought there was a chance Penn State might bail us out).

It's sad to say but it may have just been the highlight of this season/cycle. Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Even if dudes don't come out and express it like you just did, these sites are going to dry up other than the CanesBroFam retards and the mentally challenged victims of bear attacks trying to convince each other that coach Mosely leaving American Airlines for the second time to coach WRs at UM will be the shot in the arm this program needed. They'll talk each other into everything being Brennan Carroll's fault in between checking their mom's mailbox for their disability check.

The only possible scenario I can see from our admin IF they have a brain is that by making it very clear he won't be fired they are trying to force him to come to the table for a reduced buyout.

Coach Golden has been off the grid, according to Nathan Skinner, who claims that his multiple sources are reporting that the Coach has disappeared. Yet, Skinner further claims that assistants are being kept since they're all out on the recruiting trail.

Man.

I could ride with Geo if he was confident in his sources. But this, "I don't think it's gonna happen but was told it will" **** don't fly. If someone I trusted told me something, I'd ride with it.

For example, Geo is right about the Admiral. I was told months ago that "he isn't on the short list; he IS the short list." I heard this from two people I trust, the last of whom said that there's hope for the Butch movement after all because the two are pals. That was the first I'd heard of this, but the Admiral is a SoFla guy, so it seems overwhelmingly possible that that's true, as well.

So maybe next year. When Al inevitably falls on his face, a truly powerful president will BBB.
