How can a staff writer not know the difference between their, there and they're? Interesting.

feel like these kind of posts should start with some description of the OP's credentials.

are you an employee at the athletic department?

are you friends with a current/former player or recruit?

Well, I like Brad & Chad a lot and think they are both fine football players, but how are they going to do anything by themselves? I've never seen a 2 man team win many football games and without additional talent coming in I doubt we'll get any better. FML, being a Hurricane fan has never been more frustrating, with the greatest frustration being how can the fans see the oroblems and solutions and the coaches be so clueless?

A class ranked in the 30's, transfers, another awful season, and kids receiving another year of bad coaching = eh no big deal.

Anyway, **** this thread. I'm sure it'll be left up til Monday cuz of all the page views its giving the site, but all this only to find out the same group of incompetent people that destroyed UM football will remain incompetent .

Random thoughts:

a) Once a person starts to mentally check out of a job, the timetable can accelerate. That may be the case with Donna.

b) Given the above, making the coaching change may be accelerated as well.

c)If Butch comes back, you'd better believe there will be some serious contractual repercussions if he decides to leave early.

d) Money talks. Someone should get a boatload of donation pledges to cover Golden's buyout. I'll pledge $100.
 
My condolences to Fetidcane. I can only imagine the feeling you had when you realized you were wrought from the loins of total loserdom when you heard that clown chuckling over Butch Davis' name. No amount of business success or trustee status can excuse such hilariously awful judgment.

I think there is about 85 BOT members, how do they get that many people on the same page to make a quick decisive decision?
Here is how I think it is suppose to work... I think your A.D. makes a decision and send it the president who in turns shoots it down or agrees. If she agrees she takes it to the BOT and states her case. Then the BOT can hear the info and make a decision.
If your A.D. is spineless or powerless then the way I think the process should work couldn't possibly have any chance of being efficient or successful.
So does anybody know how it works here or how they get everybody on the same page?

That **** has been going on for the last 4 ******* years. Our fan base has been neutered. Most don't have a clue what a good HC actually looks like.
 
Well, this was a fun thread. It was fun to do an annual folden goneathon in early January. It's become a tradition. Thanks for giving us and the site a boost where we had nothing to think about prior. I had mentally checked out before this thread. I will keep checking in through monday, just not as often. I am resigned to Al being here, but am looking forward to the circus next season. Thanks for checking in geo, thanks for gracefully letting us down and covering your *** as best possible. No hard feels. Your rep is going to take a hit, regardless, but you'll be alright. Congrats on fatherhood.
